Homunculus

This homunculus paper cutout was inspired by my Neurology studies in medical school. In basic terms, the anatomy of a homunculus is distorted in proportion to the areas of the brain dedicated to a particular part of the body. Approximately 2000-2500 pieces were cut out to make this. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this template, and tried to incorporate basic neuro-histology (dendrites, axons, myelination, Schwann cells, etc.).
