SARS-CoV-2

The general outline of this paper cutout is based on the structure of SARS-CoV-2 from figures in scientific publications (found through a PubMed search) that were available at the time of drawing. For the patterns, I opted for an asymmetrical and cryptic design to reflect the scientific community’s efforts to ‘decode’ and understand the behaviour of SARS-CoV-2 and the management of COVID-19. Approximately 2500-3000 pieces were cut out on completion.
